AJR accepts PayPal as the method of payment.

We can take deposits on any item listed but this can only be done by contacting us directly on Please note that full payment is then required upon completion of the manufacturing process. No item will be posted without the receipt of all monies owed.

AJR’s top priority is to satisfy all its customers.


You may return your purchase from the Online Shop for any reason up to 14 days following your receipt of the ordered products. Unfortunately, no returns will be accepted after this date.

For hygiene reasons we regret that earrings for pierced ears are non-returnable.


It is currently not possible to exchange a product online for a new or different item in one transaction. The unwanted item should be returned and a new order placed for the desired item(s). You will be refunded for the item(s) returned. If you received the item as a gift, the sender will be refunded the appropriate amount.

Please address your return parcel to the address below. We recommend using recorded delivery and keeping proof of postage. Please keep a copy of your postal transaction slip for your reference.

Returns are sent at your own expense. This postage cost is only refunded if the products are faulty.


PLEASE NOTE - Do not under any circumstances address any parcels to “Art Jewellery Rene” because it advertises the fact the parcel may contain jewellery and dramatically increases the chances of your parcel going missing in the post.


Please note that the AJR policy is to credit your PayPal account for returned products. An exchanged or new item(s) will not be sent to you unless a new order is placed via the Online Shop.

Refunds & Replacements

Refunds will only be given if a replacement item, or other solution to any problem cannot be found.

Refunds and replacements can only be given on goods that have manufacturing errors that cannot be corrected by AJR.

Refunds and replacements cannot be offered if the any of the following applies to an item:

1.     There are no fundamental/manufacturing problems with the item and has been manufactured to specification.

2.     It is from our unique collection and has been manufactured exclusively for the client.

3.     It is made exclusively for the client to his specified design.

4.     It is an item with an element of personalization, for example rings designed by clients or any third party, engraving etc.

5.     We are prevented, for health reasons from accepting earrings and body jewellery that has been worn through pierced skin for return or refund.

6.     Items that have been damaged by the customer in any way cannot be accepted for return.

7.     Items showing signs of wear, have been altered or resized by a jeweller other than AJR, or damaged in any way cannot be accepted for return.


We are not responsible for loss or damage of return shipments. We cannot be held liable for any loss you may suffer as a result of late delivery or cancellation of your order.


Customers are required, where possible, to inspect all shipped items promptly following delivery. No claims will be allowed for pilferage or damage unless notified to carriers and ourselves immediately. Such claims will be investigated on individual basis with the shipping company.
