Artistic Statement

Movement is my language, my release, my storytelling. Dance and acting were my first loves, and from the moment I began moving, I understood it as more than just technique—it was emotion in motion. A way to translate the intangible into something visceral and real. Whether I am performing, choreographing, or collaborating, I am drawn to the power of the arts to evoke, disrupt, and ultimately, bring order to chaos.

My artistry thrives in contrasts—high energy meets stillness, sharpness gives way to fluidity, and individual voices weave into synchronicity. I gravitate toward a contemporary movement and work that is emotionally driven, where musicality is not just heard but felt, and every shift in dynamics serves a purpose. I don’t believe in empty performance; I want to see a raw connection, vulnerability, and facials that emerge naturally from the given circumstances rather than forced expressions. My work leans into the unpredictable, embracing moments of disorder before bringing everything together into something cohesive and intentional. This usually comes out in my choreography and improvisation as a release of free movement, followed by stillness. I connect to this greatly, as I love seeing the duality in things, and even myself, who is seemingly calm and collected, but always has a lot going on in my brain.

Choreography is my way of sculpting time and space. I see movement as more than steps—it’s formations, energy shifts, and storytelling set against the rhythm of a song. When I create, I map everything out, from the structure of the piece to how bodies interact with the music, ensuring that every element aligns with the emotional core of the work. My process for acting is very similar, I enjoy deeply analyzing the work and the character and look for pieces of myself in any role I play, and always take away a new piece as well. My process is deeply collaborative; I believe the most powerful pieces emerge when artists contribute their unique voices, shaping something greater than any one individual. I believe that the most Energicity one can feel, or the energetic electric feeling experienced on stage isn’t performing alone, but rather sharing that experience with others.

As a performer and creator, I am constantly pushing to explore new dimensions of movement—whether through solo work, ensemble pieces, or theatrical collaborations and taking on a new character, I aim to craft work that resonates beyond the stage, that lingers with the audience, that makes them feel. This is my artistry. This is my Energicity.
